MaxPatrol scanner is now 10 years old!

Positive Technologies celebrates the anniversary of the popular security scanner MaxPatrol 7 and releases the last demo-version.
The first lines of MaxPatrol 7 scanner code was written on December 2nd, 1998. During the last 10 years, MaxPatrol 7 became known to every Russian information security expert. According to the statistics of server with free version of scanner, more than 300 000 copies of MaxPatrol 7 were downloaded.
In 2003 MaxPatrol 7 commercial version’s started. This is the corporate product which is adapted to large networks and has advanced capabilities, technical support and great number of useful functions. Independent research of security scanners shows that MaxPatrol 7 is one of the best intelligent security scanners in the world, and this scanner does not worse than expensive Western solutions but also exceeds them in key parameters. More than 1000 Russian and foreign companies successfully use MaxPatrol 7 to analyze and control corporate resources security.
MaxPatrol 7 development stages generally follow the formation stages of the Russian IT market – from simple solutions for practical tasks to support and efficiency increase of business processes.
In the beginning of 2008 Positive Technologies released the last update of MaxPatrol 7 security analysis system and announced the move to a new product – MaxPatrol Compliance Management System. But for the 10-th anniversary of its first product Positive Technologies prepared a gift to many fans of the popular scanner - the latest «anniversary» demo version of MaxPatrol 7.
